Borrowing

BORROWING POLICIES

Users and borrowers are expected to treat library materials in a responsible manner, in order to preserve them and to ensure availability for other users; they are responsible for returning materials within the due date.

The Library lends different numbers of items to different categories of readers: those who are eligible to borrow materials must present an appropriate ID.

 

BORROWING ENTITLEMENTS

Students 15 days indefinite   Borrowing period for books can be extended, unless no other user has requested the item.
EXCEPTIONS

The whole material in the library is available for borrowing, with a few exceptions:

  • Books published before 1930 and fragile materials
  • Dissertations and Theses
  • Dictionaries, Encyclopaedias, etc.
  • Maps (items may be borrowed, but must be returned on the same day before closing time)

 

SERVICE ACCESS HOURS

The items will be made available for borrwing during the opening hours of the Library.
